A Legally Licensed Tour Operator in Vietnam (Show)
In Vietnam, there are thousands of companies selling and operating tours for international travelers. However, many of them do not hold the required legal licenses to operate international tours.
To be recognized as a legitimate and professional travel operator, a company must obtain an International Tour Operator License issued by the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT).
This license is granted only to companies that meet strict legal and professional standards, including:

A qualified manager with a university degree in tourism.

A valid tour operation certificate for international customers.

At least three full-time International licensed tour guides.

A security deposit of 250,000,000 VND (approximately USD 10,000) at a local bank to ensure customer protection and compensation in case of emergencies.
These regulations exist to ensure that tour companies operate responsibly and ethically, protecting travelers’ rights and safety.
