North Vietnam 4-Day Tour: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay & Ninh Binh

DAY 1: ARRIVAL HA NOI - CITY TOUR (- / L / - )

Upon arrival Noi Bai International airport, welcome by our driver, transferred to your hotel of choice for check-in. Have lunch at local restaurant. Start the tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and complex. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-palace. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts where he used to live in the past. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, built by Ly King in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam - Vietnam's first University constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Cyclo in the Old Quarter. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HA NOI - HA LONG BAY - HA NOI DAY CRUISE (B / L / - )

8:30 Meet our tour guide and bus then take a 2,5-hour bus drive through fertile rice fields to Ha Long Bay. Have a break en-route to free your legs.

11:30 Board our Vietnam Top Travel Cruise and start cruising among limestone islands and photograph of stunning landscapes of Ha Long.

12:00 Savor your lunch on board while passing by beautiful Stone Dog, Incense Burner islets. Cruising further to take photos of Ha Long Bay symbol, a “Fighting cocks” islet.

13:30 Stop at a floating village to see local fish-men community and know more about their life.

15:00 Visit Thien Cung “Heavenly Palace” cave, the most beautiful in Ha Long Bay. Get back and cruise more around emerald water.

16:15 Stop at the harbor again to catch the bus to Hanoi.

20:00 Arrive back in Hanoi.

KAYAKING RIDE (optional): Pay extra 50,000 VND per person. The best way to explore true beauty of Ha Long is riding kayak around the fishing village, get in touch with local people and going through the “tunnel caves” to wonderful a secluded lake. Return to Ha Noi. Overnight at the proposed hotel.

DAY 3: HA NOI – BAI DINH PAGODA – TRANG AN BOAT – MUA CAVE - HA NOI DAY TOUR(B / L /-)

07:00 – 07:30 - Our guide will meet you at your hotel/stay and start 110km modern Bus-journey through verdant landscape of country side. Short-brake en route.

10:00 - Arrive Glimmering Bai Dinh pagoda complexes, the largest pagoda, not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast of Asia. Scenically set on the foot hill of Dinh Mountain surrounded by amazing views of the exquisite river valley below and dotted and the limestone karsts dotted around which will take your breath away.

13:30 – Leave for the Trang An Grottoes, an out-standing natural beauty of majestic limestone massif at 20 square kilometer rise dramatically out from rice paddy fields. Deep into the linked chains of towering mountain are pristine places of mystical valleys, numerous fresh water ponds, and jungle.
Embark on a traditional sampan gently roweddown the exquisite river through numerous caves: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave,...and Cao Sơn Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, Vu Lam Temple…

15:30 – Visit Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with sprecious view of the nature.

17:15 – Return to our bus and then come back to Ha noi

19:30 – Drop you off at your hotel/stay.

DAY 4: HA NOI & DEPARTURE (B /-/-)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Freely go shopping until you are transferred to the airport. End of services. Finish your Highlights of North Vietnam tour 4 Days.
